Kalyx leases its properties to recognized, seasoned operators and provides select tenants with capital for infrastructure upgrades. Kalyx is an on-going, equity buyer of industrial and commercial real estate and a landlord well versed in the regulatory, zoning and operational challenges unique to the cannabis industry. Kalyx properties are located in states with rapidly growing cannabis markets that operate within thoughtfully constructed regulatory frameworks. Kalyx is NOT a cannabis operator. It neither owns, nor does it intend to own, a financial interest in a cannabis business. Rather, by purchasing their buildings well and carefully vetting new tenants, Kalyx is creating a new real estate vertical that addresses the specific needs of the cannabis industry. Kalyx uses a range of traditional and bespoke acquisition structures that allow operators to unlock capital currently consumed by their real estate assets. This often enables tenants to strengthen their balance sheet and accelerate their growth. Kalyx also draws on its growing network of regulatory and law enforcement partnerships in providing guidance to tenants as they navigate compliance issues in new markets. Kalyx is building a carefully selected portfolio of real estate assets as well as lasting partnerships with its tenants, regulators and law enforcement.
