Globant Ventures was born as the Globant’s investment arm in technology startups, beginning in Argentina and expanding to Latin America. Focused in capturing and investing in high-impact emerging technology startups, with lasting value proposals and solid teams. It offers an acceleration program including mentoring, training, coaching, co-working spaces, access to a contact networks, and opportunities to new potential investors, and financial support in the form of capital or convertible debt. Globant Ventures invests in the range of USD 50,000 to USD 200,000 in each startup in exchange of a minority interest. Globant Ventures was selected by the Argentine Government (FONDCE) with the aim of co-investing in startups of up to an additional amount of USD 50,000 in each one (a minimum of 3 investments per year and a maximum of 10).
